4 The Centers of Excellence at the Thammasat School of Engineering (TSE)

Electromagnetic Energy Utilization in Engineering
The Center of Excellence in Electromagnetic Energy Utilization in Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, plays a role in developing technologies for electromagnetic energy utilization. These technologies are adapted to meet the needs of the industrial sector, making it possible to apply them in production processes and further develop them for commercial purposes.
Creative Engineering Design and Development
The Center of Excellence in Creative Engineering Design and Prototype Development, Faculty of Engineering, focuses on adding value to research and innovation by creating practical innovations that can drive societal progress. Examples include addressing issues such as environmental challenges, alternative energy, agricultural technology, and healthcare solutions for underprivileged communities in Thailand.
Environmental Catalysis and Adsorbtion
The Center of Excellence in Catalysis and Environmental Adsorption, Faculty of Engineering, aims to develop methods that utilize light in combination with chemical catalysts to reduce the harmful effects of chemicals and minimize chemical contamination in communities near industrial zones. This center also works on advancing the production of clean, high-safety energy.
Materials Engineering and Performance
The Center of Excellence in Engineering and Materials Performance, Faculty of Engineering, focuses on developing materials and engineering components through in-depth research by experts from various fields. The goal is to create high-quality, cost-effective devices that can be manufactured domestically, as well as to elevate Thai research to meet international standards.
