To produce chemical engineers equipped with knowledge, skills, and the ability to learn and critically analyze problems, while adapting to new technologies. The program targets chemical engineers as its main focus, emphasizing professional ethics and continuous development of knowledge.
Careers:
1. Careers in production processes such as production engineers, process engineers, and quality control engineers, who are responsible for overseeing, managing, and resolving issues in the production processes in chemical industries, petrochemical industries, oil refineries, natural gas separation plants, and chemical plants.
2. Careers in sales, marketing, and technical services, such as working for companies involved in the sale of chemical products and equipment for factories.
3. Careers in academia, such as research and development roles or teaching positions. This field allows for in-depth use of the knowledge gained. In the past, there has been a lower demand for such roles in Thailand due to the reliance on foreign technology. However, this demand is expected to increase in the future.
4. Project-based careers, including project engineers, involved in the construction and preparation of production plants, and coordinating with other engineering fields like civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers. Project engineers can work for either plant owners or contractors.
5. Careers in business development, such as planning, analysis, risk assessment, and business development for setting company policies or expanding businesses. Professionals in this field require knowledge of economics, business, marketing, and management, and often pursue graduate studies in management.
